Surveillance of environmental & occupational exposures for cancer preventionFrançais|Contact Us

CAREX Canada is developing profiles for approximately 170 substances selected as high, possibly high, and moderate priority carcinogens in Canada. We are reviewing substances classified by the International Agency for Research on Cancer as known, probable, and possible carcinogens. These profiles contain information on carcinogenic evidence, main uses, regulatory information, and the potential for occupational and environmental exposure to the Canadian population. The documents highlight information used during the prioritization process and also provide readers with a Canadian-themed source of information on exposure to these substances. For more information about how substances were chosen, please refer to our Occupational Priorities Report and our Environmental Priorities Report.
